I remember Swatch being popular for a very short time in the 1980's, at least in the US, because of its cute name and different colors. But, because it's "PLASTIC PEOPLE" when you wear it on your wrist, it starts to sweat under the watch and it feels very uncomfortable to wear. That's why Swatch made it a pocket watch. But most people want it to resell it or for the status symbol that they were first to aquire it. 🙄
