My great great grandfather died in ww1 in france where he is buried. His son died of complications from fighting in ww2 :(

I sometimes think about my 2x great-grandfather who was buried in some unmarked mass grave on the eastern front of WW1 forgotten by time. I wonder how his son felt when he had to leave his children to fight in WW2, just like his father did, just never to return
