He held talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House, reviewing the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement and closer economic integration. On the margins he also met President Vladimir Putin of Russia, President Kassym Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan and Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed of Ethiopia. The delegation included Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court, and Reem Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation. Summit discussions centred on financial cooperation and the energy transition. The UAE, a full member since January 2024, took part for the third time. Concluding the visit, Sheikh Khaled thanked India for its hospitality and wished the country continued progress.
