So if you’re taking the furniture, make sure you utilize every little bit of it! For example, wrap the legs of chairs/tables with packing plastic and make it a box. Stuff it! Put books/pots/smaller things into the drawers and such. Also use the blankets around furniture to keep it from scuffing, while also packing the blankets along :))

I think it also depends on if yall are driving/flying. I’d also prioritize heavier or bulky items in the UBoxes as well as you can. If you have car room I’d say you have some more wiggle room. I also second using all of the same box. Worst case if you’re not going very very far see if you can find a storage unit halfway or almost there to temp storage some art stuff and see what you can fit on you move in or see if you can have a friend hold onto some things for a little bit. My one friend sold a ton of stuff when moving to Atlanta from Dallas and had a tiny storage unit. She flew one way back to Dallas for a conference and we drove overnight in a minivan to atl with the rest of her stuff and then I flew one way back

I think youd be surprised you can fit some of the bigger pieces if you really optimize the inside storage and pack it to the brim. furniture is harder/more expensive to replace than some of the smaller items
