@powers_plants: You can’t just continuously share the edges of your boxwoods because it stresses them out. They end up getting Volutella Blight and will eventually die. Every 2 to 3 years you wanna cut the top 6 inches off the boxwoods. They will be bare on top, but the sunlight will trigger new growth on the inside of the plant and keep the plant healthy. You can then continue to share the edges and 2 to 3 years later cut the top off again.
