Lidl in Spain has got restrooms, they are usually at the entrance after the cashiers.

That was my problem in US Supermarkets, to find an normal sized bottle of water or something else. When you get inside, there are everywhere gallons of water, milk and so on. You have to walk to find the smaller bottles. It needs some time to get used to, just like your mother has to get used to our supermarkets.
