@bullyloverescue: 🚨 EMERGENCY – ALFIE WHISPINGTON NEEDS OUR HELP 🚨 We just pulled a new Frenchie from the shelter who we are calling Alfie Whispington. His condition was awful when we picked him up and now it is critical. Alfie has been suffering from a severe prolapse, and despite the shelter attempting two purse string surgeries, both have failed. He is in pain, uncomfortable, and running out of time. He just arrived at our vet, and the situation is urgent. They had us transfer to an emergency facility because his string failed and now he has complete prolapse. We cannot show pictures due to how graphic this is. They are immediately getting him in emergency surgery because there is a very real fear that the exposed tissue could begin to lose blood flow and die. This is no longer something that can wait. 💔 Right now this is life saving. We have been quoted $5,000 for his emergency surgery and care.
