Let me tell you something. I looooove Hawaii. like, I LOVE Hawaii. if I could live there, I would. Sadly, there is a very good chance that I will never go to Hawaii again. And it makes me si sad to think that. But...your country is not the same, and you're not ok. I hope things get better for you all soon ❤️

Niche example: My hubs is getting a new xc bike in the 7-8K range. Came down to a Rocky Mountain vs a Transition. He couldn’t decide until he thought to look up if Transition is Canadian or American brand. It’s American, so he’s getting the Rocky Mountain.

This has changed my entire retirement plan. We bought an RV in 2021, was going to retire Sept 2025 and travel states in winter. Pivot now to selling it this August and we are heading to Europe. I told work they have me for 3 more years. My husband has never seen your National Parks. Now likely never will.

Tokyo has Disneyland, too & apparently, it's much cheaper to go there than to the States. My friends just came back from DisneySea (non-existent in the US) & they said it was amazing

I canceled my last 3 trips to the US... was going to go to Florida... went to Barbados instead. Was going to go to Vegas to see my absolutely favourite band, went to see them in Greece instead to see them...I have visited 20+ States. I have knocked off 15 bucket list items, I still have 13 US bucket list items. Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Yosemite National Park, wine tour through California, Monument Valley, Washington DC, Alaska Cruise, New Orleans, Sequoia National Park, Death Valley, Red Rock Canyon, Carlsbad Caverns National Park. And my list grows every day. But the US has moved to the bottom of my list. I have hundreds of things on my list... instead of two weeks traveling the Pacific Coast Highway... I have booked a 2+ week cruise to Antarctica. so I have about 75 things on my list, more than years I have left. There is a chance I could make it back to the US... but it is slim to none.
