@rmntamina: I used to think I’d spend decades climbing the career ladder in healthcare. That the stress, exhaustion and constant pressure were just part of being ambitious. But somewhere along the way, I got tired. Tired of structuring my entire life around work. Tired of feeling mentally drained all the time. Tired of spending my days off recovering instead of living. And after becoming a mum, something shifted even more. Success stopped looking like job titles and progression. It started looking like flexibility. Peace. Being present. Having energy left for the people I love. I don’t regret healthcare. But I’m grateful I realised early enough that I didn’t want burnout and survival mode to be my forever. #nhs #nurse #healthcareworker
