people do it all the time for me, and when they ask why its not reading their card, i just go "oh, probably because im not done scanning yet!" and they go "..oh.." like. PATIENCE 😭

The worst part about this for me is that my job’s card reader will beep like it went through and then they get mad cause it sounded like it went through but I’m not even done scanning and I’m not even on the payment screen

I have been avoiding my favorite grocery store cause I went in after a 14 hour he'll weekend night shift and they asked if I had a member card I said yes. only to get to the end of scanning while im frantically looking for it cant find it so im logging into the website to get my number I apologized. the poor cashier looks at me and goes its okay I don't want you to have a breakdown. I'm sure I was so red from embarrassment. I paid and left so quickly. no rewards for that one and im never getting food after work again. ill starve ill cry. I don't need my comfort food. I can't handle that anxiety and call out.
