As someone who was bullied, I had a very weird thing happen. I went back to college at 36 and the woman who bullied me her daughter was my lab partner.

I’m a genderfluid lesbian and I’m the owner of a queer nonprofit that supports the LGBT by raising money to help with gender affirming care and providing resources that are LgBT friendly and advocate for human rights and host events to help us have safe spaces to hangout, wether online through our discord server or in person. We go to protests and document queer events through our social media and YouTube. We also sell queer and human rights apparel and homegoods as well. We have a Spotify playlist as well, where we add queer songs either about being queer or by queer/trans artist and share music by our ally musicians who are safe artists.

There were a few people I was mean to, or just didnt know how to socially include them. especially in elementary. I think of the people I hurt. If they became adult bullies, I guarantee they suppress any thoughts related to you😭 But when we have genuine repentance and remorse I think we can’t help but think of who we hurt

my anniversary comes up next year im not looking forward to it. i lost a partner in 2016 i had my fiance in my second relationship end up hiv positive after cheating on me thank god we where not sexually active. at the time. and my last was a abusive alchoholic.

my partner now was not the kindest person in high school (was bullied herself for being queer, but then passed it on to others). within the past 10 years, she’s reached out to the folks she was able to find on socials now and apologized for hurting them. she’s a totally different person now, but yes - hurt people, hurt people.
