I may not completely agree, but he’s got a very valid and well-thought-out point. We’ve DEFINITELY got bigger fish to fry, and in a way, the blending of cultural influences could do more to bring us together than the other way around.

as a native American, we wouldn't have food like Indian tacos and scone dogs if we didn't culturally appropriate hot dogs and Mexican food. people will cry about cultural appropriation while eating an Indian taco. there's so much stuff we wouldn't have if it wasn't appropriated. imagine limiting yourself to ONLY your cultures food, hairstyles, and music.
