Was in a gate program. Undiagnosed ADHD. Definitely neurodivergent. When I was put in it, I was reading at a college level by age 12. I have premonition dreams. Claircognizant. Polyphonic perception too for sure. I remember the pink drink, weird quizzes, hearing tests, etc.

Born in 1976, was in the GATE program in the early 80's until late 80's. Pink Drink, Headphones with beeping patterns, puzzles and patterns tests, then being tasked to predict what comes next. Even today I spot patterns and puzzles everywhere and can almost always predict what is coming.

I was in the “advanced and gifted” program in 5th grade! I’m 38 now. I’m exceptional at pattern recognition, problem solving, and memorization. I get Déjà vu quite often. I also heard “voices” in my head from 17-23 until I learned to put it back behind the curtain

Lastly, I wanted to comment on the pink drink. It was given under the guise as fluoride in the mobile dental unit. But who drinks a cup of fluoride? It's usually administered in foam trays on the teeth. Our family saw our own dentist but I was continually signed up to visit the mobile dental unit. I would emphatically tell my teacher I already had my cleaning with the family dentist. It was a battle and my mom would have to send a note to back me up. I always, always wound up on the list to see the dentist and with each passing grade in grade school it was always a hassle to explain.

I remember purposely failing some of the tests. My intuition told me to lie because what will happen won’t be good. But I was in gate 3rd-5th grade then my Mom moved us to another state. Then we moved to another state. Weird right?

I was in the GATE program. They had us guess the shape on the flash cards with shapes on them.They had us play Memory/ Match games. While using a regular deck of cards they had us guess if the card was going to be red or black before we flipped over the card. We had to keep the cards we guessed correctly in a pile and whoever got more cards correctly got a prize.

I remember being able to fly in my dreams around that age? crazy because i have very few childhood memories and I didnt have a traumatic childhood but have the autobiographical memory like ptsd

I’m neurodivergent and remember being tested but I wasn’t “gifted” in school. But they tested every year. I’m just wondering why I kept having the same dream constantly. It was not a good dream either!!!💯

I'm 46 and was tested yet wasn't in gate. I was in another program, they called it the STAR PROGRAM. I still did the hearing test. Still did that nasty ass fluoride pink stuff. Still did the cards and intuition testing. Was transferred out of the first elementary to another and from there is was in that program. I'm AuDHD.

my grandmother told me not to answer any of those questions correctly, so I intentionally answered incorrectly, and was removed from the program.

What do you call it when a visual thought (like a picture or a video) pops into your head. And then the thing you saw in your brain happens a few minutes later. Like visions?? I don’t know what to call it. But I don’t know at the time that I’m having a “vision” until the thing happens in real life.
