@andruyeung: Greg Isenberg thinks we're about to see more new companies started in the next 5 years than in the previous 50. And the data is already backing this up. #AI #prediction #jobs #creator
so you're trusting an "AI expert" rather than an economist about this

With all the layoffs the economy cannot support these entrepreneurs. Math doesn’t work with this.

Agree. The only AI proof job is entrepreneurship.

There’s a difference between a rise in Entrepreneurship and successful upper class mobility so both can be right - they are measuring different things

I think AI can enhance IT support staff work flow by accelerating the troubleshooting process in the field.

I don't think so. Gig workers are the new underclass. They work for pennies without any benefits, health care or work security. AI is exensive. Really expensive. Right now it's subsidized, but when that ends, normal people will not be able to finance the development of products and services based on AI. Besides, who care's what app or saas you vibe code? If you don't have millions to marketing, it will fail. Making an idea into reality is not the hard part. Selling it is.

ChatGPT is mass deluding people into business ideas though. So that number could be partially that. It makes people believe their business idea will be highly successful. AI psychosis has now a track record of influencing people into making poor financial / business decisions.

We don’t even have enough energy capacity to keep an “AI economic boom” sustained first off… then considering how many small businesses fail within the first 1-5 years AND you didn’t disclose what *kind* of businesses are being started. If there’s an influx of everyday people all registering the same sort of businesses in the same sort of industries/niches, that won’t necessarily breed a ton of job ans wealth creation… not saying people shouldn’t start businesses (I am myself) but the promise of a brighter future is far from guaranteed

Someone has to do the manual labor. Many will be left with only that as a choice.

AI and humanoid robots with AI will be very useful. I already use AI for consulting and proofing as well as bouncing ideas. I farm alone. I have tractors, chainsaws, hoes, etc. Robots are tools that give me the ability to get a lot more done in a lot less time. I will get three robots as soon as I can. There is plenty they can ready do to help in simple tasks. AI, robots, pitchforks, knives and chainsaws — what can possibly go wrong?
