former sales guy for home depot services here. You have followed right to repair law. Now get a quote to have it repaired by another bonded company. Send the quote to Lowes with notice that if appropriate repairs are not completed in x number of days ( whatever is legal in your state) that you will be hiring this company and suing lowes for the cost plus legal fees and pain and suffering. also contact local news and bbb. BBB has no teeth, but accreditation is important to companies like Lowe's so they are more likely to do something to keep it.

At the end of the day, here's the deal, it's pretty simple...You hire a company and you pay said company then that company is on the hook for a fucked up job, period!! Doesn't matter who they subbed the job out to. WHO YOU PAYED IS WHO'S RESPONSIBLE!

its not lowes. lowes hires 3rd party contractor to do there installs. you just paid lowes for a consultation fee.

Lowes doesn't do any contracting work. They subcontract local contractors add 20% and charge you for it.👌

As a roofing and siding salesman, i cringed when you said “I got a roof installed by Lowes”. I sell mostly GAF Roofs and my GAF rep would have my ass if he heard me refuse to redo a roof. I would lose my certification. Improper installation falls under the workmanship warranty not on the shingle manufacturer warranty.

Can you file a homeowners insurance claim against Lowe’s? A faulty roof is going to lead to more damage after 1-3 winters, I would think your insurance carrier would be concerned about that.
