If you want some helpful advice plant your sunflower patch or patches and then on the outskirts of the field plant buckwheat or do a buckwheat patch in between sunflower patches

You really need a preemerge for sunflowers if you want them to produce good sized heads. I wouldn’t mix both sunflowers and millet. They have different maturities.

Try broadcasting sunflowers instead of planning had better luck with germination and grass control.

I do half brown top in half of the field then sunflowers in the other half. That way I can shoot the brown top 1st because it will make 1st. Sunflowers 🌻 for the next shoot. I am not criticizing y'all, just a idea. Shoot straight I hope y'all are able to wear them out
