Your theory is good, but in Venezuela there aren't that many bot farms. What you find are farmers, but they only have one or two accounts.

I met someone who paid their college and a car with runescape. back in 2016-2018 I didnt farm in RuneScape but I did work on second life. the money i got on lindens I slowly saved up to pay my plane ticket and passport and get out. I tried working a regular job and my pay at the time only covered 12 eggs and some veggies. I preferred to stay home and host parties/DJ in SL all night for a few dollars a night for years than actually have a job there (And I was a vet tech, it wasn't considered a "shitty" job)
