Just know if it is an actual task trained service dog you cant charge a pet fee, unless there is damage (the situation in the video is not damage)

Having a service dog and not notifying the place youre staying is just rude. I do every single time. Even if the place doesnt have a pet fee it is good for people to be aware.

I use air bnbs on trips all the time with pets! Love it and very thankful, but please please hosts- stop using white sheets😭 kids can cause just as many if not more stains. We just bring extra sheets now🫶🏼

Genuinely asking: have you found that when you have pets the additional cleaning, sprucing, whatever is actually about $60-70? I feel like I wouldn’t want to pay a pet fee of $60 because what is the animal doing that costs that much on let’s say a one night stay (don’t come for me because I don’t have pets so this is theoretical and just because I say I wouldn’t want to pay for it doesn’t mean I’d lie about it)

Just a tip.. as a 2 dog house get darker sheets when people say they are bring pets… use it or not I personally would be happy with like a blue bed sheet when I bring my dogs

I’m always happy to pay a pet fee. Ik allowing pets means extra cleaning work. But I get frustrated by a laundry list of pet rules that were not in the booking and are sent the day of and when a host doesn’t charge a pet fee but then asks for cash when I get there 😬

Prior to their stay send a message stating that their reservation is for 4 people and zero pets. If this information isn't correct please let us know right away. When they respond that they are bringing 2 dogs its your opportunity to say the reservation they made doesn't include pets or the pet fee. If they would like to change their reservation to include their 2 dogs you can do that by sending them a change request with the $70 fee.

$70 for a pet fee is actually wild unless its reimbursed if its tidy after they leave. I travel with two dogs and every single review I have and hosts I've spoken to do nothing but rave about how clean I left their home. I have opted many times to chose other locations simply because the pet fee was unreasonable.
