For those wondering why I am “taking selfies after,” it is because it’s therapeutic to log my grief journey. Filming this process will inevitably include uncomfortable moments of sadness and tears. I know it might be hard for some people to imagine a person filming themself for anything but online approval—but this is my therapy and how I’m channeling my grief. Grief is like glitter. In the beginning, it’s everywhere... on your hands, in your hair, scattered across every corner of your life. You try to clean it up, to restore some sense of order. And for a while, it seems like you’ve succeeded. But then, one day, you move a sofa or open a forgotten drawer, and there it is again. A tiny sparkle that catches the light and reminds you of what you lost. It doesn’t go away completely. It settles, becomes quieter, less overwhelming. You learn to live with it, to carry it gently. And years later, when you find a bit of that glitter tucked behind a shelf, you might smile. Maybe even laugh. Because it reminds you of love, of connection, of someone who mattered deeply. Eventually, something will catch your eye.. a photo, a favorite song, a familiar scent, and instead of pain, you’ll feel warmth. That’s the quiet truth about grief. It stays with you, but it changes. It becomes a part of your story, a soft echo of the love that never really left 💜

I learned something about physics the other day that I haven’t been able to stop thinking about, and I try to share it every chance I get. When light touches someone, even just sunlight on an ordinary day, it bounces off them and keeps traveling through space. And because light takes time to move, anyone who’s 1 light‑year away would see Earth as it was 1 year ago. Go far enough, and they’d still see the dinosaurs. And that same idea means the light that touched him, those small, bright moments, are still out there, still moving. The past keeps traveling. And the physics behind it, called the Law of Conservation of Matter and Energy, says nothing truly disappears; it only changes form. I hope this helps or brings comfort.
