genuinely couldn't continue to read it cause I couldn't fault Rashta for doing anything in her power (of which she had so few options) to climb to somewhere safe for her. If they wanted me to care about Sovieshu betraying Navier and all that stuff the author could've made Rashta a barons daughter or someone nouveau riche or something. I am not gonna look at an enslaved woman who manipulates her rapist and his peers so she can have some level of freedom, as a villain no matter how badly the author wants me to 🙄

At some point I just found it insanely unfair that any person Rashta met was only there to manipulate or abuse her. Every side character was a hardcore Navier simp. Sovieshit used Rashta to bear him a child but was obsessed with Navier, that dog Heinry and Duke Kaufmann were her biggest bootlickers. Any woman at court either worshipped the ground she walked on or was brutally murdered for opposing her. Meanwhile Rashta never had a single person on her side inluding her own family. When you start noticing this stuff it becomes beyond ridiculous how all of these characters came together to destroy her whole life.

Read a bit of the novel and Rashta is even more deserving of a better ending. Webtoon Rashta at least was manipulative in her own right from the beginning meanwhile Novel Rashta wasn’t.

Let’s be so fucking real here the art style of the manwha is shit And yet Rashta still looks more pretty then some of the panals That Navier has😭 and the writing is god awful, Marysuevier is a piece of slave supporting shit that has people worshipping her steps and literally befriending anyone, Warcriminal gets away with his crimes, And the shit ass emperor is a literal pedophile, Rashta has a reason why she does what she does she was trying to survive a court that was literally shit from the beginning worshipping the empress the same court that her masters are in, Navier does not have a reason to be so fucking classist and being a slave supporter and cheating with a war criminal She grew up with a silver spoon shoved right in her throat, Now I’m not supporting Rashta’s actions she is awful but we need to look at the reasons behind why she acts like this she has less power in the court then you think back then even as the emperor’s concubine and some of her actions are some ways to gain some form of power like for example the fact that she spread the word of that Navier was barren because If the empress is infertile the concubine can be risen into power but god I hate remarried empress it’s so fucking horrid and that’s understatement to me personally.
