@savingonelifeaz: Kitten season is here. The season of tiny paws and heartwarming rescues… but also the season of suffering most people never see. Every day, we take in kittens that are orphaned, starving, sick, injured, covered in fleas, fighting to survive outside in the Arizona heat, or losing their mothers far too soon. Some need bottle feeding, some need emergency medical care. And while the cute moments are what make people fall in love with rescue, the reality is that kitten season is emotionally and financially overwhelming for rescues everywhere. We take in over 1,300 cats and kittens every year, and a huge portion of those intakes happen during kitten season. Supplies disappear faster than we can restock them, and right now, we urgently need help keeping up.
