zero sake :
My take is neutral, neither good nor bad. If it were me, I’d choose my significant other. I’m a revert, so I could still use more learning, but from how I see it, Allah has planned it so that when Judgment happens, there will be a time set when we will see Allah again as an Ummah, and it won’t just be Mohammad (PBUH) in Jannah, but all the prophets. I don’t mind waiting for that moment. even if we could communicate with the past, I would resist out of principle. I like to believe the prophets left behind what they wanted: a form of sadaqah jariyah (ongoing charity). when I read the Qur’an and pray, a part of me feels connected to the prophets, and that feeling feels just as close as a 1-minute talk with a person. If I did choose to go and have the 1 minute, there wouldn’t be anything wrong with that either. after all, when that minute is over, you’re back to being with the person you care about most in this dunya, and when it all ends, the entire Ummah will be together, at least that’s what I hope. we are all part of the Ummah, even the mountains and the trees. sorry didn’t realize how much i typed.
