When I was in college, I had a professor warn me against eating lunch in the teachers lounge because it’s always negative.. at the three districts I have been in, it has been 100% true!!!!

I never understood how teachers wanna talk at lunch after teaching /talking for 2 to 3 hours straight…. Like 🧐 don’t you want a break from speaking…. Because you most likely have another 3-5 hours of talking activity left in your day!!! I always eat in my car at lunch…. I need a break from people

I eat in my classroom as well, with the door locked. But next year, I’m going to get a fridge and a microwave for my room so, I can avoid the lounge all together.
