i started contributing to ssnit at the age of 22, meaning my 35th year of contributing will be at the age of 57 years. can i retire at age 57 because i have reached my 35th yr of contributing. if not, what happens to my remaing 3 years of contribution.

I suggest ,the government, as well as SNIIT should train and employ people to go out there to educate private people (People doing their own job and business)to contribute to the Tie 3 for their future to be secured. There are a lot of people out there who are not aware of this information. We ,individuals, SNIIT and the government as a whole has a role to play for the message and education to go everywhere in Ghana. We have a long way to go.

The question is how many of us get to retirement to enjoy these benefits? Many of us even die before retirement. I will rather suggest that, the pension scheme should be reviewed to support workers during their active years because many workers nowadays die before retirement.
