@saint: This cave in Bulgaria has been nicknamed “The Eyes Of God” Deep within Bulgaria’s karst landscape is Prohodna Cave, a 262-meter-long natural cave best known for the two massive eye-shaped openings in its ceiling. Formed over thousands of years by erosion, the holes have become known as “The Eyes of God,” giving visitors a surreal view upward through the rock. During the day, sunlight pours through them and lights the cave from above. At night, the same openings can frame the moon and stars, turning the ceiling into something that feels almost unreal.
