Btw big sister advice here (32 yr old) Please please please get dental cleanings 2-3 times a year , and brush, floss, and tongue scrape. I also grew up not going to the dentist and I didn’t take my dental care serious in my 20s and now I’m paying for it. Because dental work is very expensive and also your oral health affects your whole body. Please go to dentist asap

I wasn't allowed to leave home except for going to public school. I got on the bus at the end of my driveway, and got off there at the end of the day. I was allowed in the yard but wasn't allowed to talk to any neighbor kids, wasn't allowed to have school friends over, or go anywhere else. It's not the same as your story, not by a long shot, but even my experience was incredibly damaging and I've been YEARS behind my peers always. I also had to teach myself how to be an adult, how to cook, clean, drive, keep a job, manage money, everything, after I left home at 17. Even having just a taste of what you experienced I can say I am so so so sorry
