@lucy.cotton7: The iced coffee hack I can't stop making ☕️🧊 Full credit to the incredibly talented @cucinapalermo for this recipe — she is brilliant. Here's how to make it: ✅ 7.5 oz instant coffee (I used @NESCAFÉ USA Blonde from Costco) ✅ 1¾ cups hot water ✅ Stir until fully dissolved ✅ Pour concentrate back into the jar and chill To serve: add 1–2 tsp of concentrate to a large glass of ice water (it's strong — start with 1!), leave room for your favorite creamer, mix and enjoy. Keep the concentrate in the fridge and you have iced coffee ready whenever you want it. Game changer. 🙌 Save this so you have the recipe! ☕️ #IcedCoffee #CoffeeHack #IcedCoffeeRecipe

I love Rita, but I don’t understand this hack. I drink instant iced coffee every day and all you have to do is put the granules in the cold water and they dissolve. This seems like an unnecessary step.

If you add equal parts sugar instant coffee and water and use a mixer to mix it until it’s thick and lightens up you have whipped coffee that you can add to a little milk and it’s so delicious.

Do people really not know that instant coffee *instantly* dissolves in water? Even cold water. There’s literally no need to introduce mold spores and other bacteria into perfectly clean instant coffee. Just use it dry out of the jar!!!

Ladies this also means you wet a whole jar of instant that means you have to use that whole jar in a week. I hear the sound of money floating out the windows. I am frugal. 💰

I save my leftover coffee in my pot and I put it in the fridge for a day or two and I’ll make iced coffee with it

This is a completely a wasted step. I don’t know Rita. This is ridiculous. I would never do that to all my coffee. I drink Nestlé‘s gold pretty much daily for my iced coffee.

I mix 3 tablespoons of that powder with 24oz of hot water in a mason jar and shake. I put it in the fridge and i can make 3 lattes w oat milk and cream 😏

Why are we premoistening the coffee? Seems like it would go bad faster?

I could see this working if I were batch making a lot of coffees for a group, but for itself it’d just as easy to add the powder to water and shake it up in my mason jar

Why? No need to do all of that. Just add 2 tsp of the blonde instant coffee and you don’t even need hot water. It dissolves very easily. Then just add your flavored creamer of choice. This way you don’t need to worry about it it going bad in the fridge. Just my opinion. That’s what I do and works just fine but you do you!

I feel like this would mold before it all gets used - yes, even in the fridge. The whole point of instant coffee is it's... instant. It will dissolve in cold water and last much, much longer left dry. This just seems unnecessary but you do you 🥰
