I'm a New Bernian, born and bread, there's no place like home. Other than the few storms that has hit, a year every now and then we might get hit by a big snow, I myself wouldn't live anywhere else. New Bern has grown.If you like to party, they have club spots downtown, low key, good places to eat. Not far from Raleigh, Greenville, and other towns, right between 2 military bases. not far from Atlantic Ocean/ beach. it's quite in some neighborhoods and they places downtown you can walk and just enjoy a Saturday or Sunday evening. like I said NO PLACE LIKE HOME!!!

Moved here in 2014 and I love it here. Just need to get out of River Bend 🤢 and get some land out in the county. The parade yesterday was so great and all the events like footloose on the Neuse and all the festivals and farmers market is just so fabulous. We love Bear Town!

I moved to New Bern in 1986, down from New England and I'll never go back..The people for the better part are very friendly..I've enjoyed downtown so much that I had a job there...love the mum festival..it's awesome.
