Draw with fine liner when you’re practicing perspective bro, it’s good that you’re aware of it but you’re still chicken scratching hella. Also when drawing cylinders the side farthest from the viewer is going to be wider but still shorter than the one closest. Also you need to be adding more curvature to your contour forms, your lines are near straight which is why they look quite flat

There is no real way to draw. Draw how your most comfortable with i go without using the mannequinization method. Here is a small example

Learn different ways to hold a pencil comfortably first. Draw with your arm from the shoulder and not your wrist, learn different line weights and tapering lines and CSI’s (C curves S curves and straights) you’ll get more out of it then just jumping straight into drawing boxes and forms with bad habits

The only exercises Thats really work , is line repetition , drawing a 3d box in every angle , and light value. Tbh everything else im learning is simply if you want to draw from imagination and most people actually dont have to capacity for that study, but if you want to draw better all you need is these three
