Baby concert essentials: 1. NOISE PROTECTION MUFFS!!! Do not skip, do not cheap out. Be prepared to put them before the show even starts, in the hallways, etc. bc people are excited and it’s loud! Also be prepared to hold them on or cover baby’s ears if they decide to rip them off. Baby’s health and safety comes first. 2. Don’t buy a ticket for them!! Babies under 24 months are free at most arenas (with a ticketed adult), but double check your venue website. 3. Even with clear bag policy, diaper bags are allowed! They are going to fully search it and clear it at security. Make sure whoever has the diaper bag also has the baby, they told us they catch a lot of people trying to bring in “diaper bags” with zero baby in sight and they don’t allow it lol. I’d recommend bringing a small/medium sized bag and only bring essential items so you get through security faster AND so it’s not taking up all your foot room at your seat. 4. Diaper bag essentials: a couple diapers just in case, small pack of wipes, pacifier if you use one, one bottle or non-spill cup with milk/formula and one with water, 1-2 snacks, outfit change, baby carrier, ear muffs. Less than you think you need! What I didn’t think of was bringing a small portable fan - you can see how sweaty my girl is 😅 it was HOT in the arena, especially with baby wearing or holding her while dancing, I wish I thought of this! As it was, we just kept her as cool as possible and extra hydrated. You def don’t need toys or any kind of entertainment, the lights, crowd, music will do more than enough. 5. Speaking of… know your baby and start small. Our baby has done Disneyland, a Giants game, tons of restaurants, and large group parties so we knew she does well in crowds, with lights, sounds, and high stimulation. She did AMAZING at the concert, only fussed once and it’s because she was too hot (see note about portable fan above), then chilled out immediately once she had a break from the carrier. However, we came in with zero expectations and were prepared to take her out of the arena into a quieter space during the concert if needed. Those are some of things that worked well for us, as people who don’t go to concerts often. I was looking for resources like this when I was researching if we could bring her, so I hope it helps someone in a similar situation! Have the best time!! #arianagrande #eternalsunshine #tour #baby #concert
