the director of the movie said that he tought abt Nikki reciprocating bear feelings which to me It add to the tragedy of the story, and the movie kinda hints to that possibility especially in One scene

If he really loved her his wish would be “I wish Nikki was happy” or “I wish for Nikki to accomplish her dreams”even though he doesn’t necessarily know it’s real at that moment it says a lot about his possessiveness over Nikki.

I wonder if it was real Nikki who had written what was read at the party. In the car, Nikki had told Bear she was writing a love story (not a romance). Possessed Niki was never shown writing or even implied she was writing, because her entire existence surrounded around Bear. It’s possible Nikki already had such a distorted view of love that it only fed the toxicity of possessed Nikki.
