My husband and I have been together for 12 years and been married for 6. I constantly tell him how grateful I am for everything he does. I really hope that doesn’t change one day and that I all of a sudden become ungrateful… I don’t see that happening, but this definitely helps me realize how important it is.

I was married to that woman for 16 years, after my divorce it took me 14 years to find another wife. At no time did I ever cheat. I made a Clean break paid every penny that I was required. Finished raising my youngest from the age of 11 alone and now I’m very happily married to a wonderful woman who laughs at all my jokes and is beautiful.

I feel like I messed up my marriage too in so many ways, but I really wish my ex-wife could have shown more gratitude for the things I did. I think it would have helped me a ton. I burned out, made terrible choices and now I’m just trying to stay afloat

I tell my husband I appreciate him all the time but he actually does things to be appreciated for. Flowers, chocolates, date night at least once a week, I casually mention i like or want something and he's looking online for it asking me if it's what I want. my husband puts in real effort and I always show my appreciation.
