I have something to share and I hope u can tell me your perspective on it.
I got an mild whiplash after one of disable students pooled my hair downward, I was standing up she was sitting behind me.. so my neck was pulled aprox 180° down....
so I started feeling sicker with every minute, nausea, headache dizziness for good week. as per work policy I had to had this checked out just inacse it would get worse or it was more serious then I thought.
anyway GP told me pretty much not to be stupid as I came in my travel neck brace that is actually really stiff foam as I was doing what my body was telling me was most comfortable 👀 and knowing hypermobility is part of it, I didnt wanted to strain while holding my head up was just exhausting 👀

does it stop your neck/head from going too forward? I'm told this is why I'm getting tension headaches while I sleep

Just a forewarning to everyone: this is a non-returnable item on Amazon :( —- does anyone have any recommendations for a similar non-bulky soft collar?

The best thing I did was get a soft cervical collar for sleeping.

for me I bought a boppy nursing pillow at the thrift store and it makes an excellent neck pillow for side sleeping and you have shoulder support

Sadly not readily available in the UK, either have to wait months on Amazon or pay $75 shipping direct from the company 😳

Do you sleep on your side? I only sleep on my side and it feels like my shoulder subluxates and I wake up with trap tightness. Just wondering if you had any tips

My jaw sublocates each night. I can brace my chin but will a neck brace help? I’m waiting for a neck pillow with a cut out which I think will help a lot.

I would definitely recommend measuring the circumference of your neck before ordering a collar. But they are life changing!
