I’ve never experienced this as of yet. Now that I know it’s a thing. Thanks for bringing awareness to this issue. The way around it is you purchase the meal and take the meal to the homeless person. They have a right to not allow them inside. Outside their property they cannot legally deny them anything. So go about your it in other ways to assist homeless people meals. I hope this helps.

There were one time I went to the restaurant and homeless person asked me for food. I told the owner I want the food for the homeless man and I’m gonna pay for it. He say absolutely not because what they do they take a bite or two they go inside the restaurant and say you sell me this and I need my money back so they can just get an alcohol the next-door
