it doesn't have malware. it's a false positive. He's aware of this issue. it isn't uncommon for your virus software to give false flags for Trojans or malware for piracy software that circumvents anti-piracy software.

can i ask where you got the updater? i have my sims 4 updater from cs.rin.ru and its rhe one being maintained by aaros. so far, my pc has been fine (socials, cpu temp, background activity etc)

When i opened my pc i realized that i my updater is deleted. Idk how but it wasnt there? I just deleted my game, is that enough? Do i have to delete rest of the updater thingy? Or my pc just deleted allm😭 i dont know how to delete that updater…

Can y'all post screenshots under this comment showing the virus name and the exe file thats associated with? It’ll make it easier to tell whether you downloaded something from a sketchy pop up or if it’s actually the updater.

I installed mine from that one yt vid by lola. So far I havent been hacked and my game ran smoothly, however I ran it on that virusscanner site and saw it had trojan, I just uninstalled it immediately. My anti virus softwares dont see any threats too. I’m scared bc ppl say theyve had their acc stolen and hacked.
