Speaking of logs for hotshots, what log system are you using?

The only way it would make sense if your wife maybe was a driver and she was with you anyway you could drive 7 hr she could drive 7 hr that would cut out the break but to hire another driver would not make sense all you would have with your pre-trip in your post trip they could make more time going down the road instead of just 11 hour and all you have to do is log off duty or you can stay on duty. You wouldn’t have to log off duty till the end of the day if he or she was driving you’re still on duty you’re not in the sleeper so you still have time to be on duty maybe that would work

There is also brokers that either tell you the load must use team driver or it’s even listed on the posting on load board.

Do you have any weight restrictions being a hotshot or are you just limited by truck/trailer capacity

Quick question. Let’s say they have the same setup that you have. Each driver drives for 11 hours and then stop for 10 hours. So basically, they drive 22 hours per 32 hours period. Would they be legal?

Question. Since you are allowed 2 hours in the jump seat before starting your day in team driving, could you effectively do that in a hotshot and get 5 hours of driving instead of 3 ?
