Season 1 is and will always be the best because it was all that was actually written by both Terry and that other guy we used to know. However, according to this story, they didn’t destroy the world. Michael did. God wasn’t going to fix it or make it better until they asked for it. That is the difference.

i do like season 2 and for the most part the finale but season 1 is so special go me. it's so different from its tone, sure it has its serious moments but it's also so whimsical and what I like the most is that even without it ever being explicitly stated we just know that aziraphale and crowley love each other

I really do miss season 1 and I am dissapointed at the route they took this season but I think viewing it as a separate story has helped me. Season 1 will ALWAYS be the most canon in my heart because it’s the closest related to the book, and everything after that is kinda fanfic-y. I think it’s great in its own right, don’t get me wrong…. But the real GO is the book/season1
