Don’t do a dress. Just do comfort and shorts. Also, it’s his first trip- it will be as magical as you make it. He has no expectations. Going to character dining might be his best thing. Don’t be discouraged if that’s his favorite. Also, cooling towels and personal fans make the difference!

I wear tank like dresses almost exclusively. Either skorts or shorts underneath if they don’t have them. As far as tips, you do need reservations for sit down and character meals. Definitely need to plan ahead. Split your day and either pool or nap midday. Florida rain is usually between 4-6, although now we are in a drought daily rain is back. We have disposable rain jackets by the dozen. Order from Amazon, easy to simply toss them try to figure out how hat to do with the wet ponchos. Finally, neck fans and/or clip on fans for strollers.

As a frequent visitor to WDW, I do love the halara tennis dresses! If you’re going in June it’s gonna be hot so definitely fans, and cooling towels! Easy peasy outfits that keep you cool are gonna be the most helpful! Definitely take breaks and do some character dining (if you haven’t booked them yet, definitely try to soon)

White shorts aren’t a good idea they get dirty on the rides and if they get wet….well not good. I love overalls and I am a lot older than you. So comfortable!

Kingdom stroller for stroller rentals. Kingdom transportation for black car service to/from airport with car seats. Ship pull ups and snacks to the hotel and pick up with bellhop. Buy them a bubble wand and fan on the first day—you’ll use both the whole trip.
