@dami_sketches: Few days ago, when I went shopping and was walking around aisles, I noticed a coloring book with AI cover. It has a similar company name on it- Kayet. Kayet is a Polish brand that produces school and office supplies. However they have a series of pencils, markers, sketchbooks etc, that appear to be "for artists". But what is the point of this series of supplies if your brand uses generative AI instead of hiring real artists? Products they make suppose to persuade young people to pick up a new hobby, to show their creativity, but the thing they will see, is that there is no point in drawing, painting, doing art, because generative AI can easily replace them. I know it's not a single case and there are probably many other companies that do the same, but it's important to show them that using ai as brand which is somehow related to art is just disrespectful. I genuinely valued some of their products, but after that I don't feel like buying anything from them anymore... #kayet #generativeai #ai #art #stopai
