There is a man in Lincoln, Nebraska who has been trying for almost a month to get in a rehab place. He cant get a bed. Because of what the alcohol has done to his brain he has seizures so he can't get around the clock care at any of these places because he is uninsured. The mission wants him to go out from 10 to 5 looking for a job, but he doesn't even know where he is at sometimes. He wants help he wants to get clean, but the hospital will only keep him three days. He keeps trying to go in to detox, but then gets put back out on the streets. Could your mission help him???

A wonderful doctor once pointed out to me, while I was helping people suffering from addiction, that using the word “clean” can unintentionally imply someone is “dirty.” It’s more respectful to use the word “sober” when referring to recovery, as it removes stigma and centers healing.💜💜💜
