they might be one of the lowest gems but they are seen as valuable. even after pink broke her pearl white still kept her since she was of high quality and it would be a waist to get rid of her. this makes me think that the process for making a pearl requires more effort and resources then it does for other gems, especially one fit for a diamond. they can basically do anything the diamond asks of them so they are one of the few gems with multiple uses. to them having a pearl is like having your own robot butler. they are of low class but are seen as more valuable then the gems the diamonds shattered whenever they pleased like they could just make a new one.

Pearls' "tiers" are dependent on the person they're assigned to. The diamond's pearls have spoken down to other pearls. Either way, pearls are seen more as a status symbol then as workforce

Also guys!! When making a fan made gem the only rule your fusion should make is that it’s an actual existing fusion and follow real world gem logic like the show dose. It can’t be some made up gem fusion.
