@thebiblicalroots: Q: The Bible is total bull. Its so full of contradictions its not even funny A: So, a contradiction, strictly defined, would mean that the Bible affirms and denies the same thing in the same sense at the same time. But we don’t find that anywhere in Scripture. Christians have long recognized that some biblical passages are difficult to reconcile, but none rise to the level of a true logical contradiction. Dr. R. L. Solberg explains the difference between genuine logical contradictions and passages that simply reflect different perspectives, literary genres, or progressive revelation. From the Gospel accounts to Old Testament prophecy and New Testament fulfillment, this video explores why apparent Bible contradictions do not undermine the reliability of Scripture, but often confirm its depth and historical authenticity. #apologetics #bible #scripture

How do you explain the different ages of a person between books in the old testament? Are these just scribe errors?

If the Bible doesn't contradict itself, then we shouldn't interpret the New Testament in a way that overturns what God plainly commanded in the Old Testament unless it explicitly says so. God said the seventh-day Sabbath is holy and certain animals are unclean. If someone claims those commands no longer apply, they need a clear statement from Scripture—not an interpretation that appears to reverse God's own words. The safest way to avoid contradiction is to let the clearer passages define the less clear ones, not the other way around.
