Khoái nhất đoạn: "Thường khi đôi ba thằng chiều chiều ra bờ vắng ngắm mông lung , một thằng nhớ em, để một thằng nhớ thêm , một thằng thì nằm lật thư xem..." Nghe mà tưởng đâu mấy anh lính đang đi dã ngoại cuối tuần chứ không phải đang quân ngũ. Lính gì mà chiều chiều ra bờ vắng ngắm trời ngắm đất, rồi chia nhau nhiệm vụ rất rõ ràng : một anh nhớ người yêu , một anh phụ nhớ tiếp cho đỡ phí , còn anh thứ ba làm tổ trưởng kiểm tra thư tình. Ba lô làm bạn nên nét chữ không ngay... Nghe tới đó lại càng thương. Thời nay nhắn tin sai chính tả còn đổ cho bàn phím, ngày xưa các anh đổ cho ba lô nghe cũng hợp tình hợp lý. Đúng là nhạc lính ngày ấy ít nghe tiếng súng, mà toàn nghe tiếng lòng. Chiến trường ở đâu chưa biết, chỉ biết mặt trận nhớ người yêu thì lúc nào cũng ác liệt ! 😄 Có lẽ vì vậy mà bài hát sống mãi. Người ta nhớ không chỉ hình ảnh người lính, mà còn nhớ một thời tuổi trẻ rất đỗi lãng mạn: ba anh lính ngồi bên nhau, nhưng có tới bốn người trong cuộc vì lúc nào cũng có bóng dáng người thương ở trong thư..!
