I did a Czechoslovakia play through today, I held against the germans wonderfully and even pushed into lower Silesia, BUT THEN HUNGARY AND ROMANIA JOIN THE AXIS. And so I loose 3/4 of Slovakia, I get pushed back out of lower Silesia, I somehow manage to get enough divisions to hold out against Hungary, I start pushing into HUngary with the Russians pushing Romania from the east, Budapest is wide open, I take it, then push further, Romania gets capped, Yugoslavia joins my faction, together we capitulate Hungary. Eastern crisis solved. Then Russia invades Poland but I simply just don’t join that war. But then the entire Italian and German army pulls up to the border (and french divisions on the german side for some reason), and then they break through and I just closed the game. Probably my best play through yet. I’ll maybe play that save again tomorrow and set up a defensive line in Slovakia but idk.

tbh I find most ppl's issue is they look at everything at once and get overwhelmed, once you play for a while you realize most of it is back ground stuff you either only check here n there or won't use depending on your play style
