if you have the opportunity to birth somewhere where you feel safer than thats what you should do. I know lots of remote mums who go interstate for birth rather than Alice or Darwin. Its no different. They just want to be near a bigger support system.

Why do you even have to answer this? I had an ovarian cyst in a rural town where I worked at the hospital. I travelled to Sydney for treatment. I could have treatment there but it doesn’t mean I should.
