Your story sounds like you were very unhealthy for a period and you are bisexual. NYC isn't the epicenter of sin. Your commentary may have insulted many New Yorkers. Catholicism isn't about being right. It isn't about being homosexual. It isn't about offending. Lots of traditions, rules and rituals but what it truly is, is living or at least trying to live, as Jesus Christ did. The greatest commandment is to love God with your whole heart, mind and soul and the second, love your neighbor as yourself. As Jesus loves you. The better introspection may be are you obeying Him?
