Very cute idea! One thing I'll say though, is packing tape tends to turn yellow and brittle pretty quickly over time... BUT, if you were to use two cold self-laminating sheets instead, those would probably be a lot more durable! You should also probably let the acrylic dry for 24 hours, so they don't keep "off-gassing" after you seal them and ruin the seal!

I feel like if you don’t have paint pens just use a lil reg paper & colors cut it out put it in between the tape n it should work the same
