let's take if from the kid pov, they see one parent most of the time throughout the whole day while the other one works. The that works is now home which the kid hasn't seen since that morning or maybe not at all due to how early that parent needs to leave so that kid now sees their other parent. Now are you gonna stop that kid from wanting to have time with that parent just because their tired. I would hope not cause the child doesn't understand they just know that their other parent is home and they want to see them and be around them and that's just fine.
