Remember the 60-30-10 rule. 60% of your home being a neutral, 30% being a darker tone than said neutral and 10% being accent colors. Too much of one color makes the entire room melt. Nothing will stand out 2. Lines of symmetry in any design element— styling, hanging art work, shelf styling— is what makes everything look clean.
