@jerrica.anderson_realtor: A lot of people keep asking me where you actually go to APPLY for HELP Funds in Arkansas… so here’s a few banks/lenders that may offer or participate in HELP Fund programs in Central Arkansas 🏡 Centennial Bank 🏡 Arvest Bank 🏡 Simmons Bank 🏡 Encore Bank 🏡 Bank of Little Rock Now let me say THIS before y’all get excited 😭 Just because a bank participates does NOT automatically mean: - you’re approved - funds are available - or every loan officer will mention the program That’s why you need to ASK questions. Some lenders won’t even bring up down payment assistance unless YOU ask about it. Also… these funds are usually FIRST COME FIRST SERVED. Meaning once funding runs out, it runs out. And no you do NOT need to start by looking at houses first. Start with the pre-approval. Start with the lender conversation. THEN start house shopping. A lot of people are sitting in apartments assuming they can’t buy when really they just never got the right information.
